Day 6: Romans 12 Personalized Faith Confession for Renewal and Transformation

Posted by alicia on March 27, 2025

I come humbly before You today God, offering myself as a living sacrifice—holy and pleasing to You. Let my life be an act of worship, fully surrendered to Your will. Transform me, Lord, by renewing my mind, so I can discern what is good, acceptable, and perfect in Your sight.

Keep me humble, Father, and open my eyes that I may see myself as part of Your greater body and the strength to use the gifts You’ve given me to serve others faithfully. According to the gifts you've given me--be it to prophesy, serve, teach, exhort, give, lead, and/or do acts of kindness-thank you for your grace so abounds so I can do them with such passion, cheerfulness, and generosity.

May I love sincerely, hate what is evil, and cling to what is good. Fill me with devotion to You and a heart that honors others above myself.

Lord, give me zeal that never fades, a fervent spirit in serving You. Let me rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, and constant in prayer. Show me how to bless those around me, to share with those in need, and to be always hospitable.

When I’m tempted to curse those who hurt me, help me bless them instead. Teach me to Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep, and to pursue peace even when it’s hard. Transform me that I may live in harmony with others, not to be arrogant, but always open to associate with those who are marginalized and vulnerable. May I never be wise on my own sight, be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, and do only that which is honorable. I seek to live in peace with everyone, regardless of their religion, race, social, economic and political background. Grant me the grace not to avenge myself when wronged, for vengeance is yours alone. Grant me the strength and grace to love my enemies or those who have wronged me, I trust You God to guide my every step.
